The care sector is in demand and we need people with passion, patience, enthusiasm, good at listening and communicating to support our clients maintaining their everyday quality of life. We require candidates who can commit to ongoing support of our clients, who are loyal, reliable and treat our clients like they would want their own family to be cared for.
We have a variety of shifts available throughout Melbourne and across Victoria including Morning, Afternoon, Nights, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday shifts.
Applicants shortlisted will be contacted to complete a screening application and then an interview to follow either face to face or via zoom. Successful interviewees will undertake a full induction prior to commencing shifts.
Tasks include:
Personal care assistance
Assistance with Medication
Meal planning and preparation
Cleaning, laundering, ironing and light household duties.
Organizing outings, activities, and games.
Companionship and conversation
Other tasks as per requirement
To be successful:
NDIS Worker Screening Check. (need to have prior to commencement)
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Minimum of 12 months’ work-related experience in similar role (Desirable)
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Community Support or working to the equivalent (desirable)
Valid Driver’s Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (desirable)
Competent in written and verbal communication
